Pakistan Adoption Network UK Where families come together

Medical attention

Beware most babies have some kind of ill health, these maybe minor or severe, the baby may have to stay in hospital in special care. Many if not most are underweight and this may cause complications for the baby.  Issues of disability may not be detected at the time baby is handed to you, doctors at Aga Khan University and South City are very good in determining the health and any disability issues.  Issues such as Thalassemia, Jaundice, premature babies can easily be identified.

Medical costs

This will vary depending on which hospital you choose.  Aga Khan University hospital is cheaper than South City hospital.  Many adopters choose South City as this is placed near Clifton. Your costs overall will start from 10,000 PKR for check ups and follow-ups.  This is outside of any hospital stays, x-rays or further tests such as blood tests and immunisations you decide to undertake.  Blood tests will be needed for the UK application process (BAAF form).
